My name is Paddy Jerome and I am an IFMGA /ACMG Mountain Guide living in Canmore, Alberta. I have lived in the Canadian Rockies since 1995 when I moved here from Eastern Canada as a young man on a quest to pursue a career of adventure and higher purpose.
I began taking my ACMG Mountain Guiding training and certification courses in 2000 and completed my Mountain Certification in 2009. I have been in the mountain guiding industry for over 18 years and have worked extensively in the mountains of Western Canada, Europe and Japan.
I spend a great deal of my winter guiding season working in the Interior mountains of British Columbia backcountry skiing and mechanized skiing. I teach Avalanche Skills Training courses to the public and in more recent years I have begun teaching the Industry Training Program courses for the Canadian Avalanche Association.
CanRock Mountain Guides is my own small independent guiding operation and I feel very fortunate to have carved my own path and have the privilege of meeting new people and travelling through this landscape with folks who are so enthusiastic about being in these mountains.
CanRock Mountain Guides is committed to providing safety oriented and personalized high quality experiences for people seeking refined mountain experiences.
My promise to you is show up on time, attend to the details and do my absolute best to listen to your needs and ensure that you receive outstanding care when guided by me.
My goal is to live my life with honesty and integrity and I go to great effort to bring that to everything I do including my chosen profession of Mountain Guiding. Please refer to CanRock Mountain Guide’s Trip Advisor ratings as a testimony to this pledge.
