Join CanRock Mountain Guides for a guided backcountry split-board or ski tour in the Banff or Lake Louise area of Canada. The touring destination will be subject to snow and avalanche conditions, which will be clearly expressed to you in the pre-trip briefing. However, we will always do our best to take you to the best lines the Canadian Rockies have to offer. With a professional guide’s assistance, our guided trips provide an excellent opportunity to practice on challenging terrain, without the stress of risk management.
Before booking a trip, please note that we prefer that you keep your participating groups as small as possible to boost your trip’s value.
In addition to guiding touring trips, our guides are professional members of the Canadian Avalanche Association and are licensed Avalanche Skills Training (AST) course providers. Click here if you would like to sign up for an online avalanche course, such as the AST 1, AST 2, and Advanced Avalanche Rescue Skills course. We can also custom tailor a crevasse rescue course or a more comprehensive course on ski mountaineering. Just contact us with what you are looking for, as well as how many people you would have in your group, and we can make it happen.
